9. Ashly Burch Will Not Reprise Her Role As Chloe
One of the few details that have been made public about Before the Storm thus far is that Ashly Burch, the actress who provided the voice of Chloe Price in Life Is Strange, would not be reprising her role in Before the Storm, as she is participating in the ongoing video game voice actor strike. Rather, Burch has been added to the game's writing team as a consultant in order provide insight into the character's personality.
Meanwhile, the role of Chloe has been picked up by an actress by the name of Rhianna DeVries. DeVries has had experience playing both lead and supporting roles in various stage productions and short films, in addition to working in music videos and television commercials.
While the recasting is very obvious in the gameplay footage that has been released, DeVries does still do the job fairly well and, all things considered, her performance seems rather promising.
