We've all been there on Madden, that position when all you want to do is pull off a spectacular play to finish off the opponent, picking the complete wrong option just because the way you want to do it 'looks cooler' and sometimes you'll go for it on fourth down just for the hell of it. Pete Carroll's been in a similar position in the real world. The clip has been replayed too many times to count, of Carroll's elation swiftly shattering into despondency after his bizarre play call to throw rather than run effectively handed the Vince Lombardi trophy to the Patriots. He's a fine coach, but he won't be allowed to forget that infamous moment.
