Mafia 3: 10 Things You Didn't Know You Could Do

2K's gorgeously rendered world is more than just a pretty face.

Mafia III may be dividing the populace like a hot knife through a gangster's cranium, but after playing a good 30+ hours of it since launch, I'm having a blast.

From the gorgeous graphics engine to the immaculately detailed world, Lincoln Clay's Punisher-esque storyline and the flashback/documentary-style framing of the story overall, I stand firm behind it being one of the best open-world games in years.

That said, its focus on quickfire stealth and brutal combat encounters means once it gets its hooks in, they go deep. You'll lose hours to the many enjoyable gameplay loops Hangar 13 have crafted, which is why you need only look a little more closely to discover a number of things you probably didn't know you could do...

10. Use Your Horn To Clear Traffic

Been high-tailing it away from the cops, only for some random pedestrian vehicle to saunter into view and balls up your chanceS of an escape?

Yeah, me too.

To remedy this, hit L3 and sound your horn as much as possible when coming into any interchange or a busy stretch of road. The game's A.I. isn't perfect, but jabbing the horn button forces cars out of your way, freeing up any number of new pathways for a perfect getaway.
