20 Glitches That EASILY Unlock Difficult Trophies
If the game isn't going to play fair, then we shouldn't have to either.
For gaming purists, beating the main campaign and saving the world isn't enough. For some, it's not over until every single item is obtained and each challenge is conquered.
Even though it's satisfying to 100% a video game, anybody who attempts it is sure to fall into the Completionist Nightmare. Many Achievements and Trophies require a level of skill and patience that borders superhuman. There's nothing wrong with a challenge, but the RPGs, platformers, and shoot 'em ups on this list may have taken things too far.
Thankfully, some of the hardest gaming Trophies can be acquired through unconventional means. By taking advantage of glitches, players can clip through walls, activate abilities earlier than intended, complete time challenges with ease, and wipe the floor with the most gruelling superbosses.
Certain exploits are tricky to pull off while others are bafflingly easy. Either way, using these questionable methods is a safer bet than performing the task at hand the old fashioned way.

20. A Toe Into Madness - DOOM (2016)
Even the most seasoned Doom veterans are likely to balk at the Ultra-Nightmare mode in 2016's DOOM. Although the enemies are damage sponges and can eviscerate The Doom Slayer's health bar with a single swipe, than's not the worst part. Ultra-Nightmare uses a permadeath mechanic, meaning players have to start from scratch if they lose a life.
The 14th level, Into the Madness, tends to stop progress dead for its brutal difficulty. This is extra annoying, since completing the level on Ultra-Nightmare will reward players with the Toe into the Madness Achievement. Of course, few will attempt this task, knowing that failure forces them to start the main campaign all over again.
But there's another way. By positioning The Doom Slayer on certain hillsides, he can slide to the top, avoiding most enemy encounters.
While it doesn’t remove all combat, it drastically reduces the chance of dying and having to restart, which is the main barrier to earning the Achievement. (And let's be honest, any tactic to make this Achievement more attainable is a plus.) Using this method, A Toe Into the Madness can be secured more reliably, saving a ton of frustration.
