3. Some Kind of Official Apology

For some of the more indignant fans, nothing short of an admission of failure will appease their anger. Whether or not their justified, many fans would like to see someone cut out the PR double speak and be honest with the audience. A simple admission that the writers missed the mark that they were aiming for would be a humbling and endearing act in a day and age where everyone in the media seems so obsessed with putting the best face on the even the worst gaffs.
