Mass Effect 4: 10 Essential Non-Game Characters Who Must Appear
6. Feron
A severely underused character aside from a couple of very badass key scenes, Thane's presence in the previous games was one that immediately became a fan-favourite, just down to such a slick character design and purpose. The Drell race are one bred essentially as interplanetary explorers, and another key figure from the books is Feron, someone who after Liara becomes the new Shadow Broker in between the games is the person tasked with finding Shepard in between his death and resurrection. Feron does get a glimpse of game-time in the Shadow Broker DLC in-person (and he's the character Liara mentions she's looking for when you finally reconvene with her on Illium in ME 2) but as the right-hand man/Drell of the most powerful criminal force in the galaxy (who at this point in the timeline Liara's taken over without much explanation) it would expand upon everything perfectly.
