At time of writing, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima is currently embroiled in one hell of a home turf-war against his employers Konami. The latter have reportedly converted their office into some dystopian nightmare, where the fallout from the company's switch to mobile gaming is resulting in a string of dehumanising actions, such as employees being monitored 24/7 to produce the best results, and demoted if they aren't working consistently at optimum efficiency. However - and more than ever at this point - fans need to parse out the good from the bad, as 2015 is also seeing the final instalment of Metal Gear Solid as we know and love it. Following all the aforementioned kerfuffle, Koj and his team are departing Konami, and although they've already confirmed more MGS games are coming sans-Hideo, it's Phantom Pain that's going to be the series' big send-off, one way or the other. So, in the spirit of looking on the bright side and truly appreciating everything Kojima and his team put together across the last three decades, I've compiled a list of awesome easter eggs from across all four main instalments in the series' canon.
