Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes Trailer And Details Revealed
Prologue MGS game unveiled under the watchful eye of Hideo Kojima
Metal Gear Solid is celebrating its 25th anniversary in style - first the movie was announced, and now Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes has been introduced to the world. At the PAX Prime convention, details surrounding the game have been revealed. Firstly, Hideo Kojima, the mastermind of Metal Gear Solid, is thankfully in creative control of this new title. And yes, Solid Snake returns. The return of the legendary character sees him in a prologue to Metal Gear Solid 5. Kojima has said this is a beginning not an ending to the series. Konami have confirmed the new installment will be an open-world game. The scope? Well, this has been described as literally the entire world. Snake will be able to call in helicopter support and use it in and out of levels. Even though, the scale of this game sounds daunting, after viewing the trailer, the key espionage elements of Metal Gear Solid remain at large. Hideo Kojima has confirmed the game will run on the new Fox engine on current consoles. However, he did mention this engine is scalable to next-gen consoles too. Few details have been released, nevertheless, anticipation for Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is already almost unbearable.
