Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition Patch 1.7.3 Includes Skins
One of the many additions to XBLA's Minecraft port in Patch 1.7.3 will be player skins, and they're even releasing a Skin Pack DLC.
Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is set to get custom skins for you to select from with the release of the 1.7.3 Title Update that is set to be hitting soon. There will be a total of 8 Steve skins that are in the game by default, but will also include the launch of a standalone Skin Pack DLC that is set to appear sometime near the release of the Title Update. The pack is sporting more than 40 additional skins that you will be able to select from. Downloading a trial version will enable adventurers to use some of the skins for free, and allow you to see each one before purchasing the full pack. The skins that will be included in the DLC pack are original skins, and a few of them are even inspired by fellow Microsoft gaming properties. Here is a sampling of characters included in Skin Pack 1 (Shown above): Creeper Man Splosion Man Trials Man Covenant Grunt King They made sure to clarify that players would be able to use the same skin in multiplayer sessions. So, expect tons of Trials Men creating stunt railroad tricks. The possibilities are endless! 4J Studios also revealed that they have plans to release even more Skin Packs in the future. Having only shown 5 out of the 40 skins for the first pack, it's hard to imagine what else they have planned for the future. Will you be picking up Skin Pack 1 once it releases, or are you more concerned with the nitty gritty details of the 1.7.3 Title Update?
