Mortal Kombat 11: 10 Gaming Icons Who MUST Guest Star

No gaming icon quite encapsulates that 1980s-inspired violence that gave rise to Mortal Kombat quite like the man, the myth, the legend, Duke Nukem.

A gaming hero pulled directly from a mid-90s FPS time capsule, Duke was born out of a desire to mock the beefcake action heroes that littered the screens of the 1980s. A painfully dated satire of a stereotype that doesn't really exist anymore, Duke is now considered more of a spoof of his former self, a spoof. This kind of tongue-in-cheek, knowing style of character would be right at home next to the likes of Jax and Johnny Cage.

A dream guest fighter pick for players who enjoy the black comedy that permeates every story beat of Mortal Kombat, Duke is a legacy gaming icon who could definitely hold his own as a zoner with the best of them.
