Johnny Cage is the perfect candidate for fatalities when you think about it. He's strong enough to pull them off, and his personality allows for funny and creative kills.
Previous Mortal Kombat games have showed this quite well, with film references and uppercuts that remove heads. This fatality combines that, referencing a glitch from classic Mortal Kombat and showing some 'behind the scenes' footage of the star.
It's also just genuinely quite chilling, with Mortal Kombat 11's gore really coming through with the jaw hanging from your opponent's face.
