Mortal Kombat X: 10 Unannounced Fighters That Could Be Included
Who must come back in 2015?
Mortal Kombat X (MK X) hits the stores on April 15th, and the hype continues to build; following IGN's reveal of Reptile on Tuesday there are twelve announced roster members (with Goro as a pre-order bonus bringing the total to thirteen) and there are still twelve or thirteen slots on the character select screen to fill. Ed Boon announced via his Twitter account last week that there will be a reveal of one (or maybe two) more characters this week on the 29th during a live stream demonstration of the game on NetherRealm's Twitch channel at 1pm PST/3pm CST/4pm EST (9PM GMT/UK time). Given that the last instalment of the franchise reset Mortal Kombat into an alternate timeline; there is scope for NetherRealm to provide new takes on many classic characters - but which must they include? Well, as it seems, the answers may lie in Mortal Kombat 2011 (yes, it's been that long) with several characters having made non-playable cameos in the story mode or in character's arcade mode endings. Just as a starting point, if they were included in smaller roles in 2011 surely they must be there to set up an appearance in MK X or somewhere down the line?
