Mortal Kombat X: 10 Unannounced Fighters That Could Be Included

6. Bo' Rai Cho

Created to fill both the roles of a teacher character and, as Ed Boon put it, a "slobby" character; Bo' Rai Cho is an Outworlder and longtime rival of Baraka whom has trained many warriors for Earthrealm (including Liu Kang). Bo' never fought in a Mortal Kombat tournament as his origins in Outworld would have meant a win for him would count as a win for Shao Kahn. Following Liu Kang's death at the hands of The Deadly Alliance of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi; Bo' Rai Cho trained Kung Lao to defeat Shang Tsung then spied on the sorcerers for the Forces of Light. He joined the fight against the Dragon King Onaga; then, like most of the cast of the franchise, met his death during The Battle of Armageddon. Fast forward to 2011 and Bo' Rai Cho makes two unplayable cameos in the reboot of the series; first as a target identification picture in Cyber Sub-Zero's HUD during the story mode and secondly in Shang Tsung's Arcade ending. Funnily, considering his actions in the original timeline, he is said to have taught the sorcerer a technique to finally defeat Liu Kang. Given an older Kung Lao's appearance in MK X (despite having been killed by Shao Kahn last time around) and Liu Kang's death at the end of 2011's story mode; surely Bo' Rai Cho will make the step up to the main roster in similar circumstances to his story in the original timeline this time around? Given the already stated lack of an obvious comic relief character in the absence of Johnny Cage; Bo', with his passion for drinking and vomit and flatulence based attacks, is a prime candidate to fill that role.
