NBA 2K17: 5 Classic Teams That Are Still Missing
1. 2000-01 Milwaukee Bucks
Season Record: 52-30
Coach: George Karl
Key Players and Proposed Ratings: Ray Allen (90), Glenn Robinson (85), Sam Cassell (85)
The Bucks might not seem an obvious choice for the list, but one thing makes them stand out: during that season they were perfect against top four Western Conference teams.
Remaining undefeated against the Spurs, Lakers, Kings and Jazz is something to be proud of. This achievement becomes even more impressive when taking into consideration that the Lakers were unbeaten until reaching the 2001 Finals, and finished the post-season 15-1.
Ray Allen was one of the best shooters in league history, Glenn Robinson was a competent and consistent scorer as well, while Sam Cassell was a top 5 point guard at that time. The center/power forward positions needed some addressing, even though the Bucks had enough big bodies to stop the likes of O'Neal, Duncan, Webber and Malone.
They should make the Finals that years, but were stopped by Allen Iverson's Sixers as much as some suspicious officiating. The 2001-02 Kings - who suffered similar fate - appeared in some editions of NBA 2K. The 00-01 Bucks deserve that type of recognition as well.
