Mass Effect 3 trailer was unveiled earlier this evening at the VGA show. If you weren't excited for the games release, then you will be after watching this. The trailer sees Shepherd and his crew, put up against a huge army and a Reaper, but that's all in a days work. From the trailer we can see the introduction of a number of new enemies, a new ally and some new mechanics. Visually the game looks incredible, and this sequence seems to blend the cinematics with the gameplay incredibly well, building upon a lot of things that made the last two games great. Mass Effect 3 is hailed as Shepherd's return to Earth, but from the giant worm, similar to the one from the previous game and the barren wasteland, it seems more likely that this segment is set on the Krogan home planet. Bioware really seem to be raising the bar and have really pushed this as one of the most anticipated games of 2012. The video contains some strong language.
