New RAGE Trailer Is Online & It's Stunning!

A new trailer showing the weapons of id Software's much buzzed at E3 shooter release Rage has made it's way online and boy does it look beautiful, the weapons in particular look amazing, I can't wait to try the wing stick, a three bladed knife you throw and it comes back to you like a boomerang. I am excited about this game which makes the triumph return of the developers who pretty much invented the first person shooter genre with Wolfenstein 3D, Doom and Quake among them and it's been way too long since their last release. Although I do have some concerns that I have not seen much of what you do outside of killing bad guys. In a open world like Rage, the developers need to give you reasons to explore other than moving from one kill to the next. Otherwise things get boring and fast. I am waiting to see what the open world has to offer before I get too excited for the game but the it is shaping up to be one of the more visually spectacular that is making it's way soon on the market....
