New WWE 2K16 Videos - Including Stone Cold's "Austin 3:16" Speech

WWE.com have released several videos related to WWE 2K16, including one of Steve Austin's famous moments when he said "Austin 3:16 says I just whooped your ass" at King of the Ring 1996. That moment was the beginning of Austin's rise to the top of WWE. He was a heel at the time, but he spoke with such passion and everything he said was believable, which is why he turned face over the next year. Plus, they didn't have scripted word for word promos back then, so it came from the heart and it made it a lot more genuine than promos you see in WWE today. He said the "Austin 3:16" part because Jake Roberts was doing a gimmick of a man that was a bible thumper type that referenced John 3:16, so Austin put his own spin on it. It is the promo that many consider to be the best of Austin's career, which is saying a lot because he is one of the best talkers ever.
