The 2013/14 season will be remembered for various moments of magic but few will ever forgot the heroics of Ramos as Real Madrid clinched their long awaited Decima. As well as offering a defensive master class against the Bavarian giants Bayern Munich, Ramos scored two thumping headers in a 4-0 thrashing of the reigning European champions and then followed that up with a last minute equalizer against Atletico in the final paving the way for Madrid to win in extra time. Like most of the other Spanish players, Ramos will want to forget the World Cup ever happened but it's now time to put Ramos in the list for the greatest defenders of all time with the likes of Cannavaro, Baresi and Nesta. High praise indeed, but Ramos has won everything there is to win and while his behaviour can sometimes be erratic, he's currently the best defender in the world with pace, strength and tackling all top class.
