PlayStation Vita February 2012 Release Date Announced

Coming to North America, Australia, Latin America and Europe early next year.

Sony has finally announced the release date for the PlayStation Vita for countries outside of Japan with the handheld console coming on February 22, 2012 in North America, Australia, Latin America and Europe. There will be two different versions of the PlayStation Vita released one with WiFi only (249.99 US), and the other verion will contain WiFi and a 3G connection (299.99 US). The 3G service will be provided by AT&T in the United States, much to the dismay of the American gaming community. The price of buying a game for the PlayStation Vita will cost you $39.99 US. Now that the release date for the PlayStation Vita has been announced, are you going to hold off on buying a 3DS and wait for the Vita? Or will you buy both systems? For me I still think $249.99 US is a little on the high price range for my taste, but I understand it because of how high-end the system is.
