3. You Can Ride And Walk With Your Pokémon

Not sure precisely what the function of this is yet, and we likely won’t until we play the game, but from the gameplay footage we’ve seen your Pokémon - not just Piakchu - will follow you around in game. As it should be, in my opinion.

We see a Gengar, an Electrode, a Nidoking and a Nidoqueen all following around the game’s players but, the more interesting thing, is what appears to be the ability to ride some of them.

There are shots of Charizard, Lapras and Onix all being used to get around. Now this could be something related to Sun and Moon’s Pokémon Ride feature that replaced HMs or could be something new entirely. We’ll have to wait and see. Looks cool though.
