One of the criticisms that's been leveled at the most recent generations of Pokémon gamesis that the Pokémon themselves are starting to look dull or uninspired. Many players have believed for some time that Nintendo and Game Freak have run out of fresh ideas, but things are certainly looking up as the series' seventh generation approaches.
The vibrant new Pokémon revealed so far in pre-release info are as good as anything that the series has produced before, meaning that visiting the Alola region could be the best Pokémon adventure yet!
And with all of these great new additions incoming, how on earth are we supposed to pick our new teams? So many of these Pokémon have standout characteristics, whether it be a superb new design or battling ability that will make them formidable choices for any team.
While a data mine from the recent demo has supposedly revealed additional Pokédex information, we'll reserve judgement on those until official details are unveiled. For now, here are the ten new Pokémon that should prove to be the most popular when Sun & Moon are released next month!
