2012's Dishonored scored effusively positive reviews upon release, landing in the 88-91 region across platforms, and perhaps it's just a general industry cynicism that tells us the sequel won't be quite as lauded, even if it'll still be one of the year's best-reviewed AAA releases on the whole.
Expect heaps of praise for the ability to play as both a male and female protagonist, increased difficulty, unique time manipulation mechanics and more complex skill system, even if it perhaps ends up lacking the freshness of the first game and possibly makes a few narrative sacrifices in giving the player two potential protagonists.
