Predicting The Metacritic Scores For 2016's Biggest Video Games
11. Batman: The Telltale Series (81)
Telltale Games' episodic series for The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderlands have all received strongly positive reviews in the 80-90 region, while their more low-effort offerings, such as Game of Thrones and Minecraft: Story Mode have endured a more mixed bag of notices (typically landing in the 60s and 70s).
Telltale's stab at the Batman franchise probably won't fix the fatigue a lot of players and critics are feeling with the company's games, but given how well the Dark Knight's detective skills will mesh with the Telltale formula, this has the potential to settle among their better projects.
While there's always the possibility that DC's desire for creative control will mean a stranglehold on what stories can be told, they've succeeded more than they've failed in this regard, so it's probably best to give them the benefit of the doubt.
