Now that we've all had a few weeks to bask in the glow of our new PS4s, the wheels are turning. The new controller is nice, the extra horsepower adds some welcome new wrinkles, the menus are a big improvement over the PS3, and the visuals are obviously remarkable. But we're all thinking the same thing: I can't wait to see the franchises I love on this console. Sure we're having lots of fun playing football (from either side of the pond) and marveling at the beauty in play, or reveling in the new age of the first-person shooter that this generation is giving us already, but the great franchises we've come to love are just around the corner. When they get here, just based on the first few weeks of the PS4 era, things are going to get crazy in a hurry. With that in mind, here are some that we're especially excited for.
