It's always truly impressive how consistent these campaigns have managed to be, especially considering that three different developers reside over the franchise these days.
Furthermore, while the core CoD gameplay has always been solid, the actual narratives themselves have remained similarly enjoyable. Even in their silliest moments, the campaigns have provided enough Hollywood thrills and pulpy twists to warrant a playthrough, which is why it's such a shame that millions of players only ever pay attention to the lauded multiplayer side of the franchise.
