James Bond 007: The Duel was the final Bond game published by Domark, and was released for the Master System, Mega Drive, and Game Gear in 1993, bang in the middle of that awkward, agonising six-year gap between Bond movies.

This action-platformer may not measure up to the more intelligently designed and creative entries into its genre, but it's honestly a pretty fair effort to create a totally new adventure for Timothy Dalton's steely spy.

It's a thoroughly basic shooter all things considered, but boasts solid graphics and at least partially filled the void in fans' brains as they waited for the movie series to cut through all that legal red tape.
