Ranking Every Naughty Dog Game From Worst To Best
6. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
The game that made Uncharted the household name it remains, Uncharted 2 was received with rapturous applause when it was shown off at E3 2008, showcasing Naughty Dog's mind-blowing "collapsing building" set-piece, only for Drake to emerge in one piece, remarking "Holy crap, we were almost in that!"
Needless to say it was enough to make Nate one of the most beloved game characters of all time right there (as if the original hadn't already laid suitable foundations), but the phenomenal standout moments didn't stop there. We had a true marvel of game design in the physics-dependant moving train sequence, another where Drake leapt between moving jeeps, and a combat model that actually made sense; blending platforming with gunplay in a way no one saw coming.
Uncharted 2 is certainly the best Nathan Drake instalment, but a notably off-putting finale throws a spanner in the works, letting an unassuming - yet altogether more well-paced and well-written - sequel steal the next spot...
