Ranking Every Naughty Dog Game From Worst To Best
5. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
Confidently making strides into showing how the franchise can exist without Nathan Drake, Lost Legacy rolls together all its past instalments' gameplay innovations and has hands-down the finest action set-pieces Naughty Dog have ever devised.
Uncharted 2's train sequence or Uncharted 4's jeep chase? Why not combine to create one of the most frenetic and experimental finales of all time? The very fact you can leap from carriage to car, weapon turret to rooftop with such ease is cause for celebration - and then you have Nadine and Chloe, who have the best dynamic between two characters since Drake and Sully in Uncharted 1.
With Chloe the history expert hiring Nadine, the brawn, the pair have a real "thrown together" quality that sees them grow as real people across the story. Villain Asav is the only undercooked portion of the package, but overall, Lost Legacy has a perfect pace, length, balance of puzzles with gunplay and the best combat encounters in 10 years of Uncharted history.
Don't overlook this as "just DLC made into a full game". It's easily everything Naughty Dog and Uncharted stand for, wrapped into a supremely tight package.
