Ranking Every Upcoming Video Game Of Q1 2019

8. Anthem

Devil May Cry 5
EA

Anthem is getting a bit of a bad rap lately, and that's not entirely justified.

Although on the surface it may look like yet another Destiny clone, the thing that really makes Anthem different from the rest is some weighty flight mechanics and the different suits themselves, known as Javelins.

Combine that with a genuinely interesting world and mythology, and you have a game that should really be getting a lot more attention than it currently is. It's yet to be seen whether or not the story can grip players, but this is BioWare we're talking about.

Of course, the fact that EA are publishing this one does raise a lot of questions on the range of microtransactions and how they plan to add future support, but for now there's plenty to be excited about.

The success of this one is really dependent on how the story progresses, and if EA can keep their grubby mitts of yet another promising game.
