10. Dead Rising 3
Dead Rising 3 is exactly the type of game a platform holder wants to have available on New Console Launch Day. Accessible to casual and hardcore audiences alike, a (semi) open world packed with pop culture's favourite monster and an endless number of wacky tools with which to slay them, what else could anyone ask for?
Without a doubt, Nick's story made little more than a lick of sense and was a monumental mess of ideas from start to finish, but mucking through the streets of the fictional Californian town of Los Perdidos on motorbike-powered steam rollers while wearing a lightning-spewing mask themed after Street Fighter's Blanka is all the indication anyone needed that seriousness was the last item of importance on Dead Rising 3's agenda.
That, coupled with the least-restrictive multiplayer mode the series has enjoyed to date made questing for and subsequently building the next weapon of surreal destruction together with a friend an absolute blast.
More Dead Rising 3; less 4 for any potential future sequels please, Capcom.
