10. Hover Over Doors On The Map To See How To Open Them

RE2's new map system is a godsend. Colourising rooms based on whether you've completely looted them, noting where puzzles are and which keys go where, it lets you drink in the entire experience at a ludicrously enjoyable pace.

However, one thing it doesn't highlight in icon form is the state of a given door. Be it locked, chained up or otherwise inaccessible, you'll need to hover the map cursor over the tiny rectangle denoting a door on the map, and then it'll tell you how to get through.

As a hint for the opening of the game, once you acquire the bolt cutters, scan the map and see which rooms you can now access. Chances are there's a ton of ammo or supplies just off the beaten path.
