Rocksteady's Rumoured Justice League Game: 16 Features It MUST Include

3. Introduce A Little Strategy

Rocksteady Justice League
DC Comics

So, you've decided that a hostage situation is a job for... Superman.

He's flown over there, through a window of the skyscraper, stood between the hostages and a hail of bullets, and then gently knocked out the gunmen. Justice has been served. However, it seems that Doomsday just appeared in the middle of Metropolis and Plastic Man now has to handle that on his own.

That hostage situation will keep characters like Superman and The Flash busy until the last few parts of the mission, where they can tag in to take the place of whoever's been carrying their slack. That mission that took John Stewart to space is going to leave him unavailable for a few in-game weeks. J'onn J'onzz just had to rescue office workers trapped in a fire, so now he needs a few days rest to recover from the trauma.

Having multiple missions taking place at the same time would force the player to split their available forces, choosing who to send where and when. Add in recovery and travel periods and characters can become unavailable for a while, and players will have to tactically assign missions to who is best suited for them and can be spared.

After hearing that you are what you eat, Mik took a good hard look at his diet and realised he might just be a szechuan spare rib alongside prawn fried rice.
