Skyrim: 10 Vital Improvements They Must Make For Next Game

6. Better Enemy AI

Skyrim Dragon After reaching a certain level of ability through developing your character's perks and powers, the majority of enemies in Skyrim became incredibly easy to defeat. I remember being at Level 5 and finding it virtually impossible to defeat Ice Wraiths, trolls and camps of bandits. Wolves were difficult to keep at bay, and bears were a nightmare to deal with. Then I reached level 40 and all of a sudden every enemy fell by the wayside. Dragons, Dragon Priests and Death Lords were sill a pain, but not an object that couldn't be overcome. I ended up finding myself wading into caves effortlessly swinging my axe at any that came before me and clearing the dungeon without breaking a sweat. The enemy AI should be more intelligent - for instance, dragon attacks never changed in pattern. It was always a case of the dramatic music rumbling, the scaled beast landing with a thud, before inching toward you, unleashing its cargo of fire/ice before flying off in a circle - rinse and repeat. Yawn. Make enemies more unpredictable, please.
