5. The Shawshank Redemption Barter

Just to round out the list of references spanning all corners of the media spectrum, there's a line of dialogue spoken while inside the Winterfold college that's almost a direct quote from Tim Robbins' Andy Dufresne character from Shawshank. As in the film our hero is trying to obtain certain items to better help him in his quest, and when conversing with Enthir one of your dialogue options will be "I understand you're an elf who knows how to get things", which immediately connotes the similar line from the movie. Sadly Enthir isn't voiced by Morgan Freeman though, maybe something for Skyrim 2?
