Spec Ops: The Line The Damned Vs. The Exiled Multiplayer Trailer

Spec Ops: The Line is set to debut a new type of story for third person military shooters. Designers of the game want to create a story vastly different than what we see from the current competition. The best way they know how is to tell a story that refuses to let up. Gamers will grab a controller and witness the horrors of war as they track through a sandstorm-ravaged Dubai. What hasn't been shown in full detail yet is the multiplayer component. The release of the new multiplayer trailer shows insanely awesome tactical use of sand, as well as distinguishing the two factions that you will play as. The Damned are soldiers who chose to remain under orders of Col. John Konrad. The Exiles are former soldiers who refused to be a part of what the Col. has decided to do in Dubai. What exactly that amounts to, well, you should probably play the game and witness it yourself. Diving into multiplayer the game encourages team based combat. You will be able to upgrade your abilities, as well as strategically use the collected sand around various locations to create avalanches of death.
