Spider-Man 2 PS5: Every Leak & Rumour You Need To Know
2. ...And So Will The Web-Swinging
There was so much Insomniac's last Spider-Man game got right, and one of them was definitely the swinging. Zipping across manhattan felt speedy and exciting, which is why it may surprise some readers to hear that the studio are planning some changes for swinging in their next title.
One such change will supposedly come in the form of "web zipping". In the next game, players will be able to chain zips together into one smooth motion, making it easier to traverse the skyscraper-less Queens, for instance.
Insomniac will apparently include three different versions of web-swinging as well. These are being described as "Realistic" (modelled in the vein of 2004's Spider-Man 2), "Arcade" (where I imagine you just shoot webs into the air), and "Hybrid", which is said to combine the best of both worlds and is the closest thing to the swinging from the last title.
