Spider-Man: Miles Morales - 20 Secrets, Easter Eggs & References Explained
13. Otto Octavius
Easy one to spot but during one of the flashback sequences, a younger Mile Morales visits the Oscorp Science Centre and bumps into a young Peter Parker (in all his remastered glory) accompanied by none other than Otto Octavius, who heavily featured in the first game and became one of its primary antagonists.
You don't get the opportunity to interact with either of them, as at the time, Peter Parker had not met Miles Morales, but if you linger and listen to their conversation, Peter suggests the idea of building a neural interface to help them develop their prosthetics.
This is the same interface that Otto is testing when we first meet him and eventually develops into the technology that powers and controls his robotic arms as Doctor Octopus.
It's a nice little callback and reminds us that Otto did not start out evil, which is what makes the events of the first game all the more tragic.
