3. Doc Ock

As well as being one of Spider-Man's most iconic villains to date, Doctor Octopus is also one of the most interesting.

His portrayal in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2 showed him to be a passionate scientist driven crazy by the death of his wife. This gave him a level of depth that most other characters lacked, giving weight to the battle between him and Peter Parker. This should carry forward into the PS4 game, perhaps even making Doc Ock a character Spidey can go to for help, before eventually becoming a villain.

The most defining feature of Doc Ock is of course, his metal arms. These give him superhuman strength, the ability to climb any walls and have occasionally given him projectile abilities too. Spider-Man and Doc Ock have gone toe to toe with one another in several different mediums and his enhanced speed and power have proven to be a match for Spider-Man.

The best way to fight Doc Ock would be a scene that mimics the train scene from Spider-Man 2. Anything that can match the amount of thrills in that scene alone is certain to be spectacular.
