10. Emperor Palpatine
EMPEROR PALPATINE'S ABILITIES
- Chain Lightning: Force lightning strikes a target and then spreads to hit other nearby enemies.
- Dark Aura: The area around The Emperor is charged with Force energy, damaging and slowing foes.
- Electrocute: Palpatine immobilises enemies in front of him with electrical energy.
Palpatine is no longer able to block attacks, unlike the character of Battlefront (2015).
However, Chain Lightning is a devastating ability, particularly effective against enemy infantry, but also useful against enemy heroes, too. Dark Aura initially was able to impact enemies through walls of the map, however this ability was significantly "nerfed" in one of the first updates of the game. Palpatine's basic lightning attacks also were able to be used through walls, too, before this update.
In the beginning of Battlefront 2 (2017), Palpatine was viewed as being one of the most powerful - rightly so; he's the Dark Lord of the Sith. However, he has since had his abilities significantly reduced in their usefulness.
