Star Wars: Battlefront 2015 - 9 Most Believable Rumours You Need To Know

9. 64 Player Battles

All ready a staple of the Battlefield franchise - large scale open warfare looks set to return to Dice's shooter. This revelation should hardly be surprising to fans of the Battlefront saga, as both of Pandemic's releases featured a large amount of bots and players alike to inhabit the war-fields where factions would oppose. The key difference here however, is that bots no longer need make up the rest of the rosters for online play, as DICE have shown that two teams of 32 players can easily be achieved on both the Xbox One and PS4. (let's just hope that they work from day one this time) Whether or not this means the renowned 'squad' system will make an appearance in Battlefront is unclear, but it would make an awful lot of sense for it to be. Battlefront and Battlefield share many characteristics, not least of which being a focus on objective-based gameplay and team communication. Say what you will about Battlefield's multiplayer, but Dice have demonstrated their mastery when it comes to making large-scale confrontations work online - Battlefront won't be an exception.
