Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - 10 Details The Teaser Secretly Revealed

1. Cere Is Actually A Jedi Too

EA

When Cal makes his escape from Bracca, he falls into the path of Cere. The character will be voiced by Debra Wilson, and is described as a "mysterious companion". It was soon revealed that Cere was a former Jedi Knight too, and though Cal is unlikely to need further training, it's nice to know that he won't be the sole Jedi featured in Fallen Order.

Could Cere feature as a playable character? Will she act as a mentor to Cal? Or will they just work together to avoid the Empire? Time will tell, but it's really fascinating how little we actually know of the game so far. It's still unclear as to whether or not the main objective will be to just survive or to try and assist a burgeoning rebellion, but whether it's the former or the latter, there's no denying that the game's story is shaping up to be just the thing Star Wars fans have been after.

Episode III-IV has been well documented by the new canon since it was introduced, but it genuinely looks as though Respawn are looking to tell their own unique tale with Fallen Order. It occupies its own space within the mythos, and with so much material to work with, fans could find themselves likening Cal to Kyle Katarn in no time at all.

Content Producer/Presenter

WhatCulture's very own resident movie guy, Ewan has been working in the content creation biz for over 10 years now, having started as a freelance contributor to WhatCulture Gaming all the way back in 2015. After graduating with a First-Class Honours in History from Northumbria University in 2017 (where he won a prize for a totally killer dissertation on the Watergate years), Ewan took on the role of Comics Editor at WhatCulture and quickly developed WhatCulture Comics into one of the biggest superhero-focused channels on YouTube. He followed this with a brief hiatus at Screen Rant in 2021, where he worked across the Gaming and Film sections as a writer and editor, before returning to WhatCulture as a Senior Content Producer / Presenter in 2023. He started his own podcast, We Love Dad Movies, in 2022, and has contributed several written pieces to the Eisner-nominated comics website Shelfdust as well. In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir. John Carpenter is his fave, and he thinks Batman Beyond should never have been cancelled. If that's your vibe, you'll probably like his stuff.
