6. God Of War 3's Director Is Leading The Project

While Respawn Entertainment have only produced two games so far, they've both been overseen by the same director: Steve Fukuda. Despite overseeing that franchise though, and the bulk of the same team working on Fallen Order, Fukuda won't be directing the studio's Star Wars title, with that mantle instead being handed over to God of War 3's Stig Asmussen.

Admittedly, while that third GoW release was probably the least focused of the original Sony hack-and-slash trilogy, it was still a spectacular action game, with a sense of scale and ambition that will hopefully carry over to Respawn's latest project.

Getting this dev onboard to steer the ship is ultimately a good thing, and points toward Fallen Order being a huge departure from the kind of projects the team is usually known for.
