http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qs65jP8GI0o When I have a young son or daughter and they refuse to succumb to sleep as some younglings do, I wont hesitate to queue up this lullaby theme from Super Mario 64 on YouTube as a sleep aid. No kidding. You may think I'm crazy but I guarantee you my kid will be out like a light. Why wouldn't they be; even just listening to it now I got a little sleepy eyed. It's just another example of the Mario music team going above and beyond the call of duty. Tasked with the simple objective of composing a lullaby theme for the reviled Piranaha Plant , the music team on Mario 64 came up with one of the most enchanting and effective lullaby's I've heard since childhood. Although for those of us who've actually played Super Mario 64 we know this theme not as a prelude to sleep but as a invitation to terror. Whatever you do, don't disturb the plants!
