Super Mario: 10 Great Songs That Defined The Franchise

6. Super Mario 64: Metal Cap Theme

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMgqzgRqH7w Besides the ecstasy, the random groping, the bad food, high cost of drinks, and striking out I think the worst aspect of modern day club going is the music. It seems to me too fast, too loud, and too electronic (i.e. in-authentic). But if I had to go to a club I would think it would be nice if I could hear music along the lines of the Metal Cap Theme from Super Mario 64. The music maestros behind the scenes of that game must have had a club like influence in mind when they composed this theme. You get that certain glow stick/strobe light vibe from the song. It of course made for a great moment in the game when you finally found the metal cap switch and then gained the ability to walk underwater yet I still think this song will find its true calling when some brave dj decides to give it a spin in the club and give the skrillex a rest.

Raymond Woods is too busy watching movies to give you a decent bio. If he wasn't too busy watching movies and reading books about movies and listening to podcasts about movies, this is what he'd tell you. "I know more about film than you. Accept this as a fact and we might be able to talk."
