Super Nintendo World Opens At Universal Studios Japan Early 2021
New Mario themed cafe and shop will also be opening 16th October.
Get ready to Power Up in 2021 with the opening of Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan. The new land is set to open early next year.
You will enter the new world through a pipe and experience the ultimate Mario Kart, Yoshi-themed ride and plenty of attractions. The land in Japan will feature a ton of interactive elements including Power Up Bands so "guests can jump, hit blocks, collect virtual coins and items". It'll be like being transported into your favourite game.
If 2021 feels a little far away, guests will be able to get a bit of Nintendo in Universal Studios Japan from 16th October. Opening up in the Hollywood section of the park is a new Mario themed cafe and shop.
Pull up a mushroom and grab some Mario themed snacks. There's a choice of Super Mario pancake sandwiches and cream sodas (complete with Luigi and Mario moustache straws) and also a souvenir mushroom sipper to put your favourite beverage in.
Once you've filled yourself up in the cafe you can head into the Nintendo store to stock up on all the essentials.
Pick up everything for the Super Mario fan in your life. Why not get a Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach adorned t-shirt? You can adorn your home with a Super Mario themed cushion or pick up a smartphone case. There's also pouches and key rings.
Super Nintendo World isn't just coming to Japan. It's also been confirmed that the new land will be coming to Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. So far there isn't a confirmed opening date for the US parks new lands.
