Super Smash Bros Switch: 10 Ways Nintendo Can Learn From Their Best Games
4. Fighting On The Switch Itself
Nintendo aren't averse to having players duke it out on enormous versions of the consoles themselves - Mario Kart DS for instance had a battle stage that was, quite literally, a gigantic DS. There was also the Pictochat stage in Super Smash Bros Brawl, as well as Pictochat 2 and Miiverse in the 3DS and Wii U games respectively.
The Nintendo Switch could offer some interesting gameplay mechanics however, allowing Nintendo to dramatically change the stage halfway through as it switches to TV mode.
Players could fight on the Switch itself, which then turns into a segmented stage as the Joy-Cons are detached.
