Undeniably lazy, but not without its moments.

Telltale Games' latest episodic adventure is out today, marking the team's first collaboration with Marvel for a five-part Guardians of the Galaxy series.

It's fair to say that Telltale's output has been incredibly hit-and-miss as of late, and Guardians is unfortunately another uneven addition. While it'll likely do enough to please the most hardcore fans who just want a fun, 90-minute breeze, anyone hoping for something more refined will absolutely be left expecting more.

Whether or not the series improves from this point, mileage is likely to vary wildly between players for this opening chapter. As such, it's worth bearing these points, both good and bad, in mind before making a purchase...
