Gaunter O'Dimm is one of the great strengths of Hearts of Stone's story, but he's eclipsed by an even more enigmatic character central to the new quests. Early antagonist Olgierd von Everec is a hedonistic personality, yet he leads his band of Wild Ones with an air of honour and chivalry.

The unfolding of his relationship with O'Dimm is one of the things that made Hearts of Stone so good, and discovering the extent of his abilities and the history of his family is truly intriguing. Olgierd is fascinating, and choosing his ultimate fate is a very tough choice at the end of the story.

Olgierd provides humour and gravity to the story in equal measure; you may love to hate him, hate to love him or perhaps even experience a bizarre combination of the two.
