Tomb Raider's "Crossroads" Trailer Reveals Release Date

Crystal Dynamics released a new trailer that gives us a glimpse into the struggle that Lara Croft will have to endure once Tomb Raider hits store shelves. Luckily, we know exactly when that will be: March 5, 2013. The "Crossroads" trailer begins with a re-cap of the events from last year's E3 demo, in what is surely a compressed refresher course in the trauma Lara endures during the beginning of her fight for survival. As the video progresses, we get shown some extremely intense gameplay sequences. We are taken from Lara scrambling across the remains of an airplane on a cliff face, to stealthily maneuvering through an enemy camp with her hands bound behind her back. The team at Crystal is also placing an emphasis on Lara's survival instincts. We get treated to a glimpse of Lara hunting in the wilderness as she softly whispers, "sorry", before killing a deer for food. Tomb Raider is certainly looking to be a great reboot to one of the most memorable games of the PlayStation legacy. From the looks of the trailer, we are all going to dive into a Lara Croft adventure like no other, and witness the rebirth of one of gaming's most recognizable heroines.
