3. Know Your Scores For Combo Challenges
Both Score Challenges and Combo Challenges require players to gain a set score as quickly as possible. In Jams, this is normally 100,000 or 150,000 points. For some this will seem a tall ask, but once you have got good enough to pull combos off of this size, the next thing is to make sure you are getting the wins for it!
A few seconds difference can be the deciding factor in which player wins these games, with some only lasting 10 or 20 seconds. Knowing when you have enough points in your trick can make the difference between victory or failure. For example, it pays to know that once you have a combo of 13,000 x 12 tricks, you would win when the target is 150,000.
To achieve this you may only need to do two high scoring vert tricks followed by a few flatland moves to increase the number of tricks used in your combo. Through time you will automatically get better at this, but by trying to perfect it you can add easy victories to your record in this quick fire game.
